I
understand how it can be just so... overwhelming. It's
just sometimes hard to know what to think...
"How
many hours?", "How many photographs?", "Digital or
film?", "How much does it cost?", "Will I get all my
pictures on disc?", etc.
You're probably getting different answers to all of
these questions from every photographer you talk to
you... No two photographers seem to have the same
answer... because there is no "right" answers.
What
it really comes down to is what you WANT. How do you
feel about the photographs?
The
amount of hours, and photographs you get from your
wedding photographer is completely pointless, if they

If you're still on the fence about wanting to pick up
the phone and call me right now, maybe because you've
never heard of me. Or maybe you have another
photographer already in mind. I want to share with you a
letter sent to me by one of the brides that chose me to
photograph her wedding, so she can share with you in her
own words her experience with Bruno's:
"
My
husband and I were married after a six-month engagement.
As with most women, as soon as the ring hit my finger,
my feet hit the pavement in search of the perfect
location, caterer, florist, and most importantly,
photographer. Sure, you hope everything comes together
and is just the way you planned for the day of your
ceremony and reception, but it is the photographs that
are going to be your visual memories of that day for a
lifetime.
During my search, I interviewed a half dozen
photographers and found Rick's work to be miles above
the rest. The same day I visited Rick's studio, I chose
him to photograph our wedding. He met with my husband
and I before our wedding day to discuss the types of
pictures and family groupings that we wanted. During all
of the stress and confusion the day of the ceremony,
Rick helped us keep it together. One thing that I looked
for in a photographer was an interest in taking creative
pictures. Rick came through by suggesting a mix of
romantic, candid, and fun shots. He really does
tremendous work.
Later, I was the Maid-of-Honor at my best friend's
wedding down in Arizona. She had a horrible experience
with her photographer. He expected them to organize the
poses and was extremely passive. I was the one
suggesting poses that I remembered Rick had used at my
own wedding. She was generally disappointed with her
photos. She now has to recreate her wedding day to get
the shots the he did not provide for her.
I know how important it is to pick the right
photographer, and it may feel a bit like a "luck of the
draw". But consider your leg work done and take it from
